Most AI tools work by sending your data somewhere else. You get the capability, they get your information. For some use cases that tradeoff is fine. For others it isn't.
Jolla Mind2 is a dedicated local AI server designed to run AI on your own hardware, not in the cloud. It comes pre-installed with Venho, so everything that Venho does — email triage, workflow automation, document analysis, contact management — runs on a device you physically own, in your home or office.
We built Venho around the principle that processing should happen where your data lives. For professionals, businesses, and anyone handling sensitive information, that means on your own devices — not on someone else's servers. Our partnership with Jolla puts that principle into hardware.
Venho runs on any Windows, Mac, or Linux computer — Mind2 is optional dedicated hardware for those who want an always-on private AI server running independently of their laptop or desktop. The hardware makes that local layer permanent and always-on, preconfigured for local AI workloads so you don't have to assemble or tune anything yourself.
Jolla is a Finnish technology company with roots in Nokia's MeeGo project and over a decade of building privacy-first alternatives to dominant platforms. Their best-known product is Sailfish OS, a mobile operating system built for independence from Big Tech. The Jolla Mind2 is the next step in that same direction: hardware built specifically to run AI locally, with no data leaving your control.
Venho provides the software platform that runs on it. When you buy a Jolla Mind2, it comes with Venho pre-installed. Jolla builds and sells the hardware. We build the intelligence that runs on it. Both companies are European, and the devices are manufactured in Salo, Finland.

The Jolla Mind2 is a compact personal server — about the size of a small book — that sits on your desk and runs AI locally. It connects to your home or office network via WiFi or Ethernet, and your computer or phone accesses it from there. In the future, direct phone connection will be supported too.
It runs Venho software on-device, which means your emails, documents, messages, and contacts are processed and stored on hardware you physically own. No cloud subscription doing the work in the background. No third-party terms of service applied to your data.
The same Venho capabilities you'd use on a laptop or desktop — email triage, drafting, contact management, document analysis, workflow automation — run continuously in the background without requiring your computer to be on. It works while you're away from your desk. It builds memory over time from your communications. And it handles queries locally without your data leaving the device.
Like Venho on any device, Mind2 supports multiple separate contexts — so if you run several companies or manage multiple clients, each context stays fully isolated from the others on the same device.
For heavier tasks requiring more powerful AI models, the system can optionally connect to external cloud models. This is always visible and always under your control. It flags clearly when a query would leave the device, so you decide when to allow it.
Mind2 also supports remote access via a private VPN connection, so you can reach your device and your data securely from anywhere — not just when you're on the same network.
The Mind2 is built for individuals and professionals who handle sensitive information daily: lawyers, doctors, accountants, consultants, entrepreneurs. Anyone who needs the productivity gains AI can deliver but won't accept the privacy tradeoffs that usually come with it.
Current pricing: €629 (including Finnish VAT), includes a 3-month Venho subscription. Available in the EU, UK, Norway, and Switzerland via the Jolla shop.

The Mind2 Enterprise is built for teams rather than individuals. Where the personal Mind2 serves one person, the Enterprise version is a server sized for organisations of 20 to 100 people, with hardware configured to the specific needs of the customer.
A personal device runs smaller, faster models optimised for individual queries. An enterprise server handles the kind of tasks that require serious processing power: analysing hundreds of pages of documents at once, building AI-assisted systems that learn from a company's own data, running multiple concurrent workflows across a team.
The hardware specification is configured to the customer. A financial firm processing regulatory documents has different requirements from a law firm managing case files or a healthcare provider handling patient records. Jolla and Venho work with the customer to define what's needed.
The software layer is Venho throughout. The same platform that runs on a personal Mind2 or a laptop scales to an enterprise server deployment. Memory structures, usage policies, AI assistants, and automated workflows are all managed locally, within the company's own infrastructure, under EU data regulation, with no business data leaving the environment.
Each team member has their own login and their own assistant. Client and project contexts are separated at the architecture level, the same isolation that applies on a personal device applies across the whole team. An advisor working with one client cannot access another advisor's client data, and the system enforces this without relying on manual access management.
The first enterprise deployments are focused on document analysis, email-based workflow automation, and confidential data processing — work that simply cannot be sent to an external cloud service. The Enterprise version supports on-premise AI deployment for teams that cannot send data to external providers.

Running Venho on a laptop or desktop is the most common starting point, and it works well. But a dedicated device changes what's possible.
A laptop runs AI when it's on and active. That means automation pauses when your device does. A Mind2 runs continuously, building memory, processing communications, running scheduled workflows, without taking up the resources of your primary machine. For organisations, a shared server means the AI layer is available to the whole team from a single private infrastructure, rather than each person running separate instances on their own machines.
There's also something more fundamental about it. When AI runs on hardware you own, in a location you control, under laws you've chosen, the question of data sovereignty has a clear answer. You don't have to trust a vendor's privacy policy. The data is physically yours.
